Argus Home Security Solutions

In Canberra, Argus Home Security Solutions has built a following among homeowners seeking security doors, gates, fencing and shutters, with results described as well made and secure. The care taken in measuring and manufacturing recurs across accounts, including one security screen door fitted to a house that had shifted, where a steel strip was fabricated for the weathered timber frame so the door swung freely and self closed.

Aluminium slat gates and fencing, automatic gates, colorbond and slatted fencing, Invisigard screens, roller shutter motors and lockable plantation shutters all feature, and the finish is generally called neat and tidy. Communication before and during jobs is praised, along with punctuality and professionalism, and installer Steve is named for efficient work on two security doors.

Quotes are described as competitive, and staff from the owner through admin to the trades are said to work hard across the whole process. An aspect raised across a number of reviews is how problems are handled: when a worker broke an ankle, installation was held up but then completed promptly. Friendly, competent service and a readiness to act on suggestions for improving the final look explain why customers return, rehiring the team for further doors and fencing.

Couldnt be happier. Had 2 x sliding security screen doors installed, they work beautifully. Very professional service. Will use again!

Argus completed a first class job providing window security screens and two security doors. They came around to measure and quote promptly and installed within a couple of weeks. Any minor concerns were dealt with straight away with an excellent end result.

I had two security doors installed just recently, and the end result is very pleasing. The installer Steve has done excellent work with the doors. He was efficient, punctual and professional. I highly recommend Argus Home Security Solutions to anyone requiring the installation of security doors for their home or business. Thank you!

We could not be happier with our new side gate. I sent Argus a photo of a hampton - style gate along with a request to match the colour with our window frames, and they nailed it!. From start to finish the team were professional, attentive and genuinely caring. They crafted the gate and fence from scratch with incredible attention to detail and it turned out perfectly- just as we had envisaged. Not only does it look great but we also feel more secure with a lockable side gate. Thank you so much Argus for your outstanding work. The price was most reasonable as well.

Excellent experience and great product. We needed a new security screen door for a house that has shifted a bit and Argus did a great job measuring and manufacturing to ensure the door fitted perfectly and swung freely including self closing. They even made a powder coated steel strip for the door frame to ensure a secure fit despite the weathered condition of the timber. The end result is a great looking and secure door.

The experience for a simple gate installation was horrible. I was informed that gates would be able to swing in and after taking the deposit and 3 to 4 weeks later was told it would not possible with no discussion around options. There was then multiple poor communications on when installation would commence. After this the date was changed 3 times. I was then informed that gate had been installed and found the motors had been installed on the front of gate. It looked terrible. The only saving grace for your company was your installer who took the time to discuss the options and apologise for all the inconvenience in the process. The installer in the end kept me happy. I am very disappointed in your service and if I hadn't already waited 3 to 4 weeks when you called to tell me you could not deliver what was promised I would have requested my deposit back. I strongly recommend looking after your installer as he is a great asset to your business

My husband and I recently had aluminium lockable plantation shutters installed in our home, and we can honestly say that this is one of the best improvements to our home that we have ever made. The shutters look very stylish and allow us to take advantage of the breeze through all our windows, especially at night time. After shopping around for a long time, we found Argus had the best option for us, and was cheaper than we anticipated. From the measure and quote to installation, Bernie, Albert and the team were thoroughly professional and a joy to deal with. We would definitely recommend Argus in the future.
