Cohoes

Cohoes earns consistent praise from customers in Toowoomba for the depth of knowledge and hands-on skill its team brings to automotive and general locksmithing work. Richard is named repeatedly, with reviewers describing him as helpful, generous with his time and willing to go out of his way to solve problems that other businesses could not.

Several customers recount being turned away elsewhere before Cohoes resolved the issue, whether that meant unlocking a pin on a tow hitch or cutting and coding a replacement key for a vehicle. An aspect raised across a number of reviews is the speed of turnaround: keys are cut and coded promptly, immobiliser and exciter coil problems are rewired, and vehicles are back on the road without a long wait. Customers also note that pricing is fair and transparent, with no hidden charges, and that they are kept informed throughout the process.

The team is described as efficient, friendly and attentive to detail, and reviewers mention that even when a required part is not in stock, staff offer knowledgeable advice and point people in the right direction rather than simply turning them away. Automotive security concerns and other locksmithing needs are the work most often discussed.

Went to 4 other locksmiths in Toowoomba to unlock a pin for tow hitch on car and none of them could help except Cohoes who fixed the problem in 5 mins and charged a minimal amount. Great service and highly recommend. Thanks for fixing the problem quickly.

Richard has been very helpful. Thanks.

Went in looking for some parts I needed. They didn’t have everything in stock, but the older gentleman was very knowledgeable and kindly directed me to another shop to find what I needed. Thanks to his help, my door lock is now fixed! Cheers!
