Five Star Locksmiths | Locksmiths Melbourne

Property owners and businesses across Melbourne have described how quickly their jobs were handled, from the first call through to completion. Several customers highlight the responsiveness of the team, noting that photos of a lock or broken door sent by message were enough to confirm pricing and timing, with a technician arriving the following day and calling ahead with an estimated arrival.

Reviewers repeatedly praise the professionalism of staff such as Glen, Dave, David, Josh and Andy, who are described as thorough, patient and easy to deal with, including one instance where a technician stayed on the phone to help organise accommodation for an elderly man locked out of his apartment until a building manager could assist. Communication is a recurring theme, with customers mentioning prompt replies, clear explanations of the most suitable outcome, and honest advice when a problem was better suited to another trade.

The quality of the finished work comes up often, covering rekeying, car key blade replacement, repairs on commercial premises and access control upgrades, with programming and staff training completed efficiently. Tidiness, polite manners and fair pricing relative to the response time are also noted, along with additional keys cut at no extra charge. Many reviewers mention returning with further jobs on other properties, a concrete sign of the trust built through repeated work.

Absolutely brilliant job. Dave was great. Very professional, easy to deal with, fixed initial problem, was flexible on what was required, no complaints at all. Would recommend to anybody, 5 stars thank you!

Even though I didn’t use their services, I felt compelled to leave a review just for the customer service. I reached out by email asking for advice and a quote regarding an issue I was having, and to my surprise, they took the time to call me and help me more than what I expected — especially considering I wasn’t even a customer. They were very kind, offered very helpful and honest advice, and genuinely took the time to understand my situation. I truly appreciated this level of care and willingness to help without expecting anything in return. Thank you!

My business in Harrisburg needed access control upgraded and the consultation helped me understand what security level actually made sense for our situation. Installation of the new system went smoothly, programming was completed efficiently, and staff training on the new equipment was thorough, comprehensive service from planning through implementation.

Fantastic service! I enquired with Five Star Locksmiths yesterday morning and I had a reply within 10 minutes. After a few clarifying questions were exchanged, I had an incredibly helpful locksmith arrive the same afternoon, who completed the work at my home. Service like this is very rare these days, so no hesitation in recommending Five Star Locksmiths!

Amazing guys - even when it’s difficult, they persevere and solve the most complicated difficulties. I’m so happy that they could solve mine. Huge thanks to Dave and also the team on the phone for their communication. Highly recommended.

Have used Five Star Locksmiths for several jobs over the past few years - the team are always quick to respond, professional and have done the job to specifications. Would happily recommend to others! Thanks Andy and Jorge.
