Launceston Locksmiths

Launceston Locksmiths draws consistent praise from customers across Launceston for the standard of its work and the manner in which it is delivered. Kerry is the name that appears most often in accounts, described as professional, friendly and efficient, with reviewers repeatedly noting that he explains each job clearly and offers advice on products that suit the situation, sometimes suggesting a cheaper option than the one originally chosen.

Punctuality and speed are recurring themes, with customers describing him arriving when promised, often within an hour of a last-minute call, and completing lock replacements, cylinder repairs and new lock fittings without delay. Emergency work features regularly, from jammed keys in back doors to disc locks that could not be cut, and reviewers describe being relieved quickly. Fair pricing comes up often, including a willingness to attend on a weekday morning to avoid after-hours charges.

The supply and fitting of specialised locks, general lock replacement and repairs, and advice on security products all appear in feedback. Reviewers also mention a courteous approach and a tidy finish, with one account of a landlord coordinating a rental property job. The recurring picture is of a tradesperson who solves problems creatively, explains the options and leaves customers satisfied with both the result and the cost.

The wonderful Mr Hodgetts has just left having supplied and fitted a super specialised lock on our back door. Extremely nice chap, arrived when he said he would, very friendly, lots of good advice, and very good pricing on both the supply and fit of the lock. We would totally recommend this marvellous locksmith to anyone who needs locks replaced or repaired. Thank you Mr Lockett, your services are highly appreciated and recommended by us! I can't recommend Kerry at Launceston Locksmiths highly enough. From the moment I got in touch, Kerry was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to helping. The service was prompt, the workmanship was excellent, and everything was explained clearly with Kerry providing advice on a better product more suited to our needs that was actually significantly cheaper then what we had initially chosen . It's refreshing to deal with someone who takes so much pride in their work and goes the extra mile to make sure the job is done right. If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy locksmith in Launceston, Kerry is the person to call. Thanks again for the outstanding service—I wouldn't hesitate to use Launceston Locksmiths again or recommend them to family and friends!

I don’t usually leave reviews but Kerry’s service warranted one. He was nothing short of outstanding. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and reliable. I am just not used to this type of customer service in Lonnie. Kerry made me feel as if he wanted to fix my lock and change the cylinder in my door. I didn’t feel like I was burden even with him sitting outside in the pouring rain. His price was so reasonable too. I couldn’t fault him at all. I really hope I dont need Kerry’s services in the future but I won’t be scared if I do, thanks heaps!

Fantastic job, super efficient and reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Prompt reply on short notice, fixed same day. Service was terrific, pricing was excellent. Highly recommend.

Five Star service at an affordable price! I contacted Launceston Locksmiths on a Sunday on behalf of my elderly Mum. She had jammed a key in the back door, which was now unusable because the door could not be opened (or the key removed). She was in a panic! The business owner was happy to attend that day, but also offered to attend to it Monday if I preferred, saving me any after hours cost. He phoned on approach on Monday and dealt with the back door issue in no time. He was able to then key the front door and garage all on the same key and then happily supplied a new key to a sliding class door to the patio which Mum had locked and then lost the key for, years ago. All this for a remarkably affordable price. Mum’s on a pension and I am sure that this was taken into account. She is now so pleased to not have to fumble with different keys as she comes and goes.

Kerry came very quickly and went above and beyond to assist me with some locks that needed to be changed. He thought outside the box and found solutions for me. I would highly recommend him.
