City 2 Surf Locksmith Gold Coast

Vehicle owners, homeowners and long-standing clients appear throughout the feedback gathered on this Gold Coast locksmith. Punctuality stands out, with Ian arriving when promised and completing jobs efficiently, whether attending a car with a failed ignition barrel or supplying a replacement key fob that matched the original closely. Reviewers repeatedly describe the quotes as fair and the pricing as competitive for the work involved, including emergency call-outs and key duplication. Communication is another common point, with customers noting that Ian explains the likely range of outcomes, keeps them updated throughout and remains contactable before and after the job.

His manner is consistently described as friendly, honest and professional, and he has been trusted with repeat work over many years, covering everything from damaged vehicle locks to new smart locks and safe and vault requirements. A willingness to travel beyond his usual area to assist a customer on holidays is mentioned, as is free telephone advice that saved one caller considerable expense. Ian is the name that appears most often, recognised for dependable workmanship, tidy results and straightforward dealings across both urgent and planned jobs.

Ian was on time, professional, and fast to get our new front door smart lock installed. Very fair quote. Will be using as our go-to locksmith 😊

Thanks Ian got me sorted asap , turned up got the job done much thanks , know his stuff highly recommend Ian thanks mate appreciate you Greg and Anna 👍👍

Terrible service, I made two appointments with Ian. First one, he never even turned up and no communication to say he wasn’t coming. Gave him a second chance, “oh yeah sorry was flat out” was the excuse. Had my number though. So I made a second appointment for 8.30am and waited until 8.45am, again no communication at all even after sending him a message to check he was still coming. I had to leave for work. Got a message at 9.20am to say “I’m here, are you still there? No mate, I’m not. Ian’s time is obviously more important than mine. Don’t bother contacting City to Surf. Terry’s Locksmiths looked after me with prompt and professional service which is all I was after. Cheers Ian

We have used City2Surf twice in the last month. Incredible service and very competitive pricing. Highly recommend.

Ian is a good operator, turned up on time to supply me a new key fob. The key looks oem and very well riced for a home key service. Highly recommend!!

I had very limited availability and couldn’t meet him at my car, but when I could, it was all done and I was greeted with a friendly face. So easy and efficient process, great to do business with!

I paid for 2 copies in 5 months ago and they didn't work. I called and text Ian many times and still can't get them fixed. Also asked for my money back and had no reply. It's really sad that no one else can make copies and Ian won't reply my texts or fix the keys.
