Dean's Shoes and Keys

Shoe and leather repair, key cutting and watch services sit at the centre of the work done at Dean's Shoes and Keys in Albury, and the feedback gathered there reflects a workshop that customers return to for a wide spread of small jobs. Several reviewers describe quick turnarounds, with boots resoled, heels repaired and keys cut in a matter of minutes rather than days, and a detail many reviews return to is the value attached to that speed without any loss of finish.

Dean himself is named repeatedly as the reason people keep coming back, described as friendly, funny and generous with practical advice about shoes, bags and clothing. Watch battery replacement and car key programming, including cutting a key blank a customer had brought in, are among the tasks mentioned, along with new elastic panels and polishing on a pair of old riding boots that were restored to comfortable use.

A number of reviews mention the relaxed, old-fashioned manner of service, the willingness to take on unusual requests such as removing a stuck set of handcuffs, and the reasonable cost of the work. Engraving and key duplication round out the mix, with customers noting that jobs are handled on the spot and finished with care.

Keys were done in a minute flat! Great music playing in the shop and a solid work ethic. Will definitely be back for future keymergencies.

Had my shoes fixed today and couldn't be happier with the service. It was quick, and Dean was so kind and funny—he genuinely made my day. Thanks again!

Dean is the best! Fixed all of my shoes that I couldn’t bear the thought of chucking away. He’s a miracle man! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Always friendly, fast key cutting and watch battery replacement, great advice and practical solutions with leather shoes, bags and clothing repair. Best on the border!

Super friendly and good value. Dean did an excellent job on my heels.

Expert, old fashioned, efficient and reasonably priced service. Had a key blank I bought online, a Collingwood premiership blank, happily cut as required, and replaced an MG key fob battery, within minutes. Beyond reasonable price and all done with that old fashioned service. Definitely recommended. ✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️

Welcomed with a smile and "no problem ". New car key cut and programmed while having a good yarn. All within 10 minutes. I'd give 10 stars for this business if I could. Thanks for the great service.
