Lock Safe Security

Lock Safe Security draws consistent praise from customers for its responsive emergency locksmith work and its straightforward, fair pricing. Several reviewers describe call-outs for lockouts, including a room door that had slammed shut, and report that a technician arrived quickly, in one case within ten to fifteen minutes, and that the problem was resolved on the spot. Car key and fob issues recur as a theme, with recoding, transponder swaps, spare key cutting and battery replacement all mentioned as jobs handled efficiently and at a reasonable cost.

A point that comes up often is the manner of the staff: Ben Davis, the director, is named for arriving promptly on an emergency call, while Lee, Dan and Dave are each credited with friendly, knowledgeable service, and Dave is noted for explaining the work and communicating clearly.

Customers repeatedly mention that technicians stay to double-check the finished lock, that pricing is quoted honestly with no surprises, and that the service feels personal rather than transactional. Roller door locks, general key and lock work, and after-hours call-outs all appear among the jobs described. One business customer notes that the team keeps their commercial premises covered, and the practical advice offered over the phone, which allowed one caller to fix a central locking fault without an appointment, is singled out as genuinely helpful.

Called these guys about an issue I was having with my car fob and central locking not working. I was told it would likely be that the key needed recoding. Instead of getting me to come in to get the job done they gave me a call and provided me with a possible fix. I was able to sort it myself. Great advice and super friendly/helpful. Thanks to everyone there on the team!!

Called at 7pm freaking out and Ben was amazing! Absolutely incredible! Got here really quickly and was extremely lovely! Let me into my place in literally less than a minute!! Thought I was going to be sleeping on my front lawn for the night and yet I was reduced! Highly highly recommend especially if you a little clumsy like me and forget to wedge something in the door to keep it open!

Excellent, fast & genuinely kind service – highly recommend Lock Safe! I had an emergency lockout today when my room door slammed shut due to strong wind while the window was open, and the keys provided by the agency couldn’t unlock the door. I called Lock Safe, and they were so kind and reassuring on the phone. I was told someone would arrive within 30 minutes, but Ben Davis (Director of Lock Safe) arrived in just 10–15 minutes! Ben handled everything so professionally and calmly. He unlocked the door quickly, made a spare key for me, and even checked other door locks to prevent this from happening again. He kindly taped the lock to stop it from accidentally locking, which I really appreciated. The best part was that Ben contacted my property agency on my behalf and arranged the payment directly with them, so I didn’t have to stress about the cost at all. That level of care and customer service is rare to find. Ben was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. I felt supported and safe throughout the whole situation. I’m extremely grateful for his help and highly recommend Lock Safe to anyone who needs a reliable locksmith in Hobart. Thank you so much, Ben! — Harshita

Fantastic 24/7 service in Hobart! Quick response and very fair price for a late-night call-out. The technician was extremely professional and stayed to double-check the lock's mechanism with me before leaving. Deeply regret forgetting to ask for his name due to the emergency, but he saved my night! Thank you!!!

100% impressed with the professionalism, knowledge of resolve and their ability to make you feel like your issue is of the utmost importance. Brilliant experience and you'd be crazy not to use these guys.
