Premier Locksmith Services

Householders and drivers around Launceston have brought urgent lock maintenance, worn car locks and a mortice key needing replacement to this locksmith, and the accounts that follow describe a consistently straightforward experience. Barry is named repeatedly, and the praise attached to him centres on honesty and patience: reviewers describe being talked through a fix over the phone rather than being charged for a call-out, and one customer who had jammed a storage unit received a helpful, low-cost solution instead of an unnecessary visit. Reliability and punctuality come through in the same-day response to a door lock problem and the quick installation of replacement screens.

An aspect raised across a number of reviews is fair pricing, with advice given freely and questions answered at length, including suggestions on preventing a repeat of the same fault and thoughts on replacing a tired door. Knowledge of mortice locks, car locks and general door hardware shows in the detail customers give, alongside an emphasis on customer service and getting the job done properly. Quality of the finished result and the value quoted are the themes mentioned most, with the team's professionalism and approachability close behind.

Incredible experience. Dropped in with a busted key from a mortice lock, and Barry was quick to look for a replacement, and explain what I can do to avoid this in future. Barry was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable – answering my many questions. Even gave me some insight on replacing the door if I was tired of the old one. Highly recommend!
