Border Locksmiths (Aust ) Pty Ltd

Fast, friendly response runs through almost every account of Border Locksmiths, with customers in Tweed Heads describing lockouts, key cutting and lock changes handled promptly and without fuss. Several reviewers highlight the calm, polite manner of the tradespeople even in awkward situations, such as being shut out of a car or unit in heavy rain. Named staff recur frequently: Ryder, Reuben, Jack, Jon, Matthew and Ruben are each singled out for efficiency, good humour and a professional approach, with one customer noting that a difficult door was opened in seconds.

Reviews time and again mention fair, reasonable pricing and a willingness to fit urgent jobs into an already busy schedule, including cutting new keys on the spot and getting a vehicle back on the road within twenty minutes. The wider work covers emergency access, key duplication, lock replacement, sliding door hardware, security camera installation and locksmith supplies, and the technical knowledge behind that range is a point that comes up often, particularly around salt-damaged doors and camera systems. Tidiness and care with existing fittings are also noted, along with a light-hearted manner that takes the stress out of being locked out.

Nice guys and great products. Very knowledgeable. Thanks!

Over an hour to get 3x keys cut. Understaffed, inefficient operation. Walk in customers getting served by the staff doing the key cutting is ridiculous. Having to answer phones, give quotes, answer enquiries, etc while trying to do the key cutting work is not efficient operation. Owners need to employ a front counter assistant while trades staff do they work.

Cannot praise the service we received from Border Locksmiths more. We were in a difficult situation. Locked out in bad weather and dinner cooking on the stove inside. Boarder were here so fast. Quickly determined the stuck door was salt damaged and found another access. Very professional and calming manner! THANKYOU!!!

Jack was awesome !! Unit door lock broke and I wasn’t able to get into my unit late on Easter Sunday. Great service, would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you so much 🙏🏻

Matthew and Ruben came to change my locks and also helped with the sliding door rollers. They were friendly, meticulous and the service was excellent. Will stick with these guys if any future issues come up. It is hard to find people who take their craft so seriously- 5 stars!

Tip top job done by Reuben! Fast and friendly service. Great experience! In the kindest way possible, hope to never have to come see you again, yet if we need to, you’ll be the only locksmiths I think of!

“Great as always! The team fixed the security cameras quickly. The installers have extensive knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills, and provided friendly service. Thanks, guys!”
