Car Keys Guy Bendigo

Bendigo drivers repeatedly turn to Austin for car key problems, and the reviews suggest a pattern of fast, knowledgeable work. Customers in several reviews describe Austin as efficient, helpful and easy to deal with, with polite communication from the first call through to follow-up. A recurring theme is the range of key work handled: replacement keys and spare sets cut and programmed on site, remote fobs and flip keys produced for a Toyota Corolla and a Landcruiser, and a rebuilt dead key with a new case when a customer urgently needed to reach Melbourne.

Reviewers often mention quick response times, with one mobile job attended within half an hour to repair a door lock and supply replacement keys. Pricing is described as fair and noticeably lower than dealership quotes, and the quality of the finished keys earns consistent praise.

Austin's persistence stands out, particularly when a key would not enter programming mode and he kept working until it succeeded. The aftermarket central locking issue on a Landcruiser was resolved in record time, and one customer recalls that even on a day off Austin messaged about the key type, suggested towing, then contacted them again after locating the lost keys. Long-standing clients note that he has cut keys for multiple family vehicles over many years.

Brilliant.....Austin gave us a great quot (much less than the dealership), was able to see us quickly and undertook the work quickly. Highly recommend his service.

thanks mate this key guy is easy to deal with. till next time! 👊

★☆☆☆☆ Disappointing after a promising start I initially contacted Austin via text to get a replacement key for my car, and he quoted me a replacement fee plus a call-out fee. That part went smoothly. The trouble started when I called to book a time. I was told I'd need to pay close to $600 upfront before he'd even attend. I offered a reasonable compromise — pay the call-out fee upfront and the remainder once the work was done — which is standard practice with most tradespeople. Instead of discussing it, he became rude and hung up on me abruptly. I understand wanting payment security, but refusing any conversation and hanging up on a paying customer is not how to run a service business. Wouldn't recommend based on this experience.

Very excellent service above and beyond. Dead key visiting daughter car, urgent need to get to Melbourne, Austin rebuilt the dead key then fitted a new case, all in short time. Really appreciate the effort. Mark.

Lost my car keys in Bendigo over Easter. Even though he wasn’t working, he took the time to message me about my key type and to suggest towing. Then he messaged me again when he found my keys on Facebook Lost and Found! A genuinely great human being.

Couldn't be more happier with Austin at the car keys guy. Came out on Saturday, fixed within 2 hours, cut 2 spare keys too. Fantastic service. Can't recommend him highly enough. Brilliant

Quick and decent price, fixed my key and made up a spare set, was done within 10-20 minutes and was easy to work with, will Definitely be back if I need anything done
