Guardian Lock Service

Vehicle key and immobiliser faults dominate the accounts left for this Cairns locksmith, and one technician, Marc, is named throughout them. Several customers describe him turning up quickly after a call, including in the early hours following a theft and within roughly twenty minutes one morning, and praise his willingness to travel considerable distances to reach a stranded vehicle. Several accounts note jobs that other locksmiths or dealerships had been unable to resolve, among them a Hyundai van that would turn over but not start, a VW Transporter, and a Mercedes whose owner had lost the only key.

Cutting, coding and reprogramming replacement chipped keys and remotes for European models are singled out as particular strengths, as is gaining entry to a locked car by picking the lock. Communication before attending, patient answers to questions and pricing described as reasonable, and at times the lowest quoted, are mentioned often. Customers also note his respectful manner and his readiness to remain with a car until roadside help arrived. Complex key and immobiliser diagnosis is the point that comes up most often.

Marc is fantastic at what he does attentively , respectfully, and firm without any hesitation marc responded to any questions i had before coming out the old school mentality he applies is something you cannot get these days thanks for your time Marc 04/07/26 🙏🏼🔑👍🏻

Absolutely outstanding service. If you’re ever stuck with a car issue, I highly recommend giving this gentleman a call. He came out to our workplace to assist with one of our work vehicles, and although the chip did not work initially he took the time to research the issue properly and promptly fixed it. Thanks to his dedication and professionalism, we had the vehicle back on the road in no time. Reliable, efficient, and excellent customer service — and far more affordable than expected, which was an added bonus. Highly recommended!

Marc was awesome. He came to the lake street car park to do my new car remote. While doing it my car battery completely died. I was at work and he stayed with the car until RACQ arrived and they replaced battery. Absolute lifesaver thanks again Marc. And he was the cheapest too!!

A big thanks to Mark for getting the twigs out of my car keyhole that were shoved in there. Friendly and professional service.

Nothing but a five-star experience with Marc from Guardian Lock Service. He offered the best price in the area and attended promptly. Marc went the extra mile in assisting with recoding and cutting the key and keeping the cost low. I’d happily recommend him and will certainly be using his services again.
