Alcatraz Locksmiths

Cairns customers repeatedly highlight the speed with which Alcatraz Locksmiths responds to lockouts, with several describing arrivals within the hour when families were stranded, and one account recalling a late-night job completed in about 45 minutes. The work itself draws consistent praise for being carried out with no fuss, whether the task involves opening a rental car, repairing and upgrading locks, common keying a set or cutting new keys. Reviewers describe the charges as reasonable, with after-hours call-out rates singled out as fair, and the service is portrayed as professional and friendly throughout.

Named staff feature in the accounts: Sue is credited with arranging times promptly, Deb with arriving quickly and putting a customer at ease, and Wayne's skill is recalled in a vehicle job that left the car unharmed. Communication stands out as a recurring theme, with one tourist noting that everything a customer would want to know was explained before being asked. Helpfulness under pressure is mentioned often, including fitting in a client on a busy day. The combination of punctuality, technical skill and courtesy is what reviewers return to.

Wow, these guys were the best. Friday night locked out in the dark with the family. Were on location in Kewarra with 45 minutes and got the job done with no fuss. I saved there number to share with all my mates. Great work guys. 👍

Sunday afternoon and feeling pretty foolish for locking myself out. Deb came within the hour. She was awesome! Deb was professional and friendly (and didn't make feel stupid for locking myself out).

Very helpful, fitted us in when obviously busy, thanks for helping us get the problem fixed

As a tourist, locked the keys in the rental car. Prompt service and very friendly. Covered all the bases a customer would like to know before being asked. The the first two companies I callled on the same area, one busy - fair, the other, can do after lunch and would be 120% dearer than what I ended up with. Thanks Alcatraz.

I'm in absolute amazement. Kia customer service to Wayne (best roadside mechanic in Cairns) to Sue at Alcatraz Locksmiths.. in about 45 mins at 1am. With a smile. Not only was the situation rectified but the skill that was used to execute it was unbelievable to watch. My new car is completely unharmed, and I'm overjoyed about something that was easily a nightmare in the making. Save this number to your phone. Thank me later.

So good. Locked out on a Sunday afternoon with 2 kids. Here within an hour - professional, friendly and very reasonable rates. You are now our local locksmiths 🙂
