Evolve Locksmithing

Key cutting, car key repairs and emergency lock work form the core of what customers bring to Evolve Locksmithing in Launceston, and the feedback gathered across more than sixty reviews points to a consistently dependable operation. Various customers describe situations where keys had snapped, fobs had come apart or office drawers had been left without keys, and in each case the problem was resolved, sometimes with an alternative solution when the straightforward fix did not work.

Sonia and Brad are named repeatedly, with reviewers noting their politeness, patience and willingness to persist until the job was done, including one call that involved a lengthy drive to a stranded customer. Response times come up often, whether a replacement key was cut and tested within a quarter of an hour or a rental van was back on the road after an urgent callout.

Pricing is described as fair, and in one case lower than expected given the distance involved. The showroom itself earns mention for being well presented, and the wider team is credited with the same welcoming manner from the first call through to completion. This is a business that treats small jobs with the same attention as large ones, and the sentiment repeated across the feedback is that nothing was too much trouble.

Super helpful. Prepared to do whatever it took to help me through a challenging situation. Very professional. Highly recommended.

Amazing friendly helpful staff. Unlocked my bike rack off my tow ball and cut four new sets of keys for me (including bike locks) in less than 24 hours and only seemed to charge for the key cutting - and even that was really cheap. I’ll be going back to them for everything to do with keys and locks from now on. So highly recommended. The best.

Highly recommend Evolve Locksmithing. In past years I’ve dealt with Brad, who took the time to do a site visit as needed, a friendly and helpful young staff member who assisted me over the phone recently and Sonia, who sorted out my latest issue in-store based on that earlier conversation. Every interaction has been professional, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. Great service.

Called up at probably 8:30am, they swung by at 8:45am due to a cancellation. They made it effortless. Had a locksmith named Dylan, he was quiet as a mouse, in and out. Hassle free and didn't need anything from me, even cleaned up after himself. Super impressed.

We were stuck in Somerset west of Burnie with a broken key for our rental van and these guys came to our rescue from Launceston a two hours drive and made us a new key in minutes. Very professional and polite, would definitely recommend Evolve locksmiths, thank you!

10 out of 10 stars! Incredibly welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend if you’re needing your car keys fixed 👍
