KeyMasters Automotive & General Locksmiths

Motorists and tradespeople bringing in vehicle and lock problems form the bulk of the feedback for this Mackay business, with car keys a recurring subject. A number of reviewers describe having keys cut, coded and rebuilt for a fraction of what dealerships charge, including spare keys for a Ford Transit and a Ford Falcon whose ignition and upper steering column were rebuilt. Several customers describe the work as precise and thorough, with fast turnaround on truck keys and roof rack keys, and one notes a second key was cut at no cost.

A theme running through the feedback is the helpful, knowledgeable advice given in store and over the phone, along with clear communication before and after the job. Pricing is described as reasonable and fair, and the team is praised as friendly, family-run and accommodating, even around a pet cat. Bookings are said to be essential for major jobs, and customers report being scheduled quickly. The name KeyMasters appears in accounts of both automotive and general locksmith tasks, with cutting, coding and rebuilding standing out as the skills customers keep returning for.

Needed a key for the roof racks in a hurry. Rang to find out whether they cat these keys. They did, and had one cut for me by the time I turned up and they had also cut a second key for free. Brilliant service!

These guys are amazing. I bought a key car from the dealer because I thought it had to be from them because of coding etc. Keymaster made me up two keys, coded and cut for the same cost as one uncut and uncoded genuine key. If you need any car keys cut, coded rebuilt or just want another spare go straight here. 5/5 stars.

Excellent service. Goes above and beyond. Would highly recommend. 10/10.

Had my car keys duplicated here for a great price, I also got a test set to allow quick duplication by any other locksmith. Great service overall
