Melbourne CBD Locksmiths

Fast response times and efficient workmanship form the strongest recurring theme across feedback for this Melbourne locksmith. A handful of customers describe calling with urgent lockouts or jammed doors and having a technician arrive within a short window, often completing the repair in a fraction of the time other trades had predicted. William is named repeatedly as the technician behind much of this praise, with reviewers highlighting his friendly manner, clear communication and thorough knowledge of locking mechanisms. An aspect raised across a number of reviews is the transparency around pricing: customers describe receiving advance explanations of likely costs before work begins, and several note that quotes felt fair for the standard of work delivered.

Reviewers also mention practical advice that saved money, such as repairing or servicing existing hardware rather than replacing entire assemblies. Beyond emergency call-outs, the business handles lock changes, installations and repairs for apartments and offices, and long-standing clients describe returning over several years without subsequent faults. Paperwork and receipts are provided, which customers have found useful for property claims, and the process is described as straightforward from first phone contact through to completion.

I have had a pretty bad experience before with calling out a locksmith. They wouldn’t give a quote on the phone and try to charge an insane amount to open the door once present but, with the team here they were able to give me a quote before coming and got the job done fast. Thank you specifically to William.

Excellent service ~ would recommend to a friend! Great communication from the start, I was told exactly what photos to send so I could get a clear quote. Locks were fixed efficiently, William explained everything along the way, and was really friendly :)

They are super fast, professional and good price. Especially, William. he is super kind and professional as well. His customer service and skills are perfect. Thank you, William👍🏻

We have used Melbourne CBD Locksmiths 3 or 4 times over the years and their service has always been excellent and extremely prompt. They have repaired, changed and installed locks around our offices, which we have never had a problem since. They have also given us some great advice. Thanks William

William was friendly, efficient and very professional to deal with. We spoke briefly over the phone, and I sent him pictures of the problem I was having with my apartment door lock (which was jammed open). He replied quickly, setting out the range of likely costs depending on what the precise problem turned out to be. I was comfortable with the price, and agreed a time for that afternoon. William was on time, and got the job done very efficiently. At different points he called me over so he could explain what was wrong with my lock, and to test the work when he was done. He happily accepted payment via credit card, and quickly emailed an itemised tax invoice. I 100% recommend!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVERRRR! I locked myself out on a Saturday evening and XANDER answered my call very quickly. He arrived within 15 minutes and fixed my lock very quickly! Extremely efficient service by Xander! He was so pleasant and offered the best service ever! Thanks heaps. Will 100% recommend Xander and this locksmith service! Thank you again!

William is friendly, fast and really knows his stuff. We saved $200 on a lock installation for our balcony because he had a simple solution that only required installing one part, rather than replacing the entire door handles (like what another locksmith quoted). Thank you!
