TCL Security & Locksmiths

Installations and the delivery process sit at the heart of what customers describe about this long-standing Cairns locksmith, with security system work for homes and businesses recurring across accounts. More than one review highlights tailored advice on the right setup for each property and a schedule built around the customer, followed by tidy handovers in which the area is left free of trade waste.

Automotive key work features prominently: motorists who lost, had stolen, or snapped keys report same-day turnarounds, including a vehicle brought in during the morning and collected that afternoon. Joel is named for reprogramming keys a dealership had quoted as a lengthy booking, and for repairing and refreshing an older vehicle's existing keys rather than ordering new ones. Tom Cowles is remembered as the tradesman behind the business over many years.

Emergency attendance after attempted break-ins also comes up, with Simon praised for arriving when promised, changing locks, offering security recommendations and cleaning up afterwards. Nathan, Dan, Bob and Ollie are mentioned for informative, patient and courteous service, including after-hours calls answered promptly and stubborn door lock and frame alignment faults traced methodically. Communication about what would be done, fair pricing for the work performed, and the friendliness of staff are points that come up often.

Great service by a polite young chappy

Contacted TCL to get some help on a motorcycle key barrel, took my details and said someone would be in touch, 2 days later, no contact, so called again, same, took my details said someone would be in touch 2 days later still nothing. Really disappointing and frustrated as TCL were recommended and not a lot of options here in Cairns for motorcycle work.

Great service from the lads and quite entertaining watching the street cam whilst waiting for keys to be cut.

Excellent service, prompt attendance. Attended earlier than expected. Thank you for your service. Nathan was very informative and approachable with regards to other safety issues.

Fantastic service. Key broke off in the ignition and they were able to retrieve and cut new ones instantly . Helped me get back on the road and continue my work. So Efficient and friendly.Cannot thank them enough. Go Tom Cowles always been the best in Cairns.

I would like to thank Simon for his speedy and professional response and assistance he gave to us after we had an attempted break in. Simon changed our locks and made the house secure but mostly he gave us back our sense of our home being our safe space. Simon arrived when he said he would, offered recommendations and advice and did a great clean up job after he had finished his work.😀 I would highly recommend TCLSecurity for any of your locksmith and security needs.

The team at TCL Security were very professional and courteous at all times. They offered great advice to ensure I was provided the right security system for my application. TCL worked in with my schedule to ensure the job was completed as soon as possible. Bob and Ollie who did the install were courteous, provided a great handover and ensured the area was clean of all trade waste. Well done TCL, highly recommended.
