Access Hardware

Knowledgeable advice and rapid turnaround on orders stand out as the themes that recur across feedback for this Coorparoo locksmith and hardware supplier. A handful of customers describe staff who take genuine time to understand a requirement before suggesting a product, with one reviewer noting that the team refrains from upselling when an existing part remains serviceable. Reviewers often mention the speed of ordering and delivery, including an instance where a needed component was out of stock but arrived within two days. Named staff such as Dave and Dean are singled out for responsiveness, with one account describing a quote that came in well below others and a job completed inside a day.

Sourcing hard-to-find items is another common thread, illustrated by a discontinued Interlok bifold twin bolt mechanism being replaced with an Assa Abloy unit ordered from New Zealand, matched to a competitor's price. Customers also refer to key cutting, lock supply and general hardware needs being handled on the spot. Patience, product proficiency and a willingness to explain options feature throughout, and the consistent note is that queries are resolved without fuss, leaving customers planning to return for future lock and hardware requirements.

One of the people from this company left there van parked in the middle of my drive way and prevented me from driving to work. No complaints about there services just move your van

My Interlock brand bifold twin bolt lock mechanism broke a while ago and the same part isn't manufactured anymore. I reached out to Access Hardware and Dean was quick to reply they could source the Assa Abloy twin bolt lock I was after, although it had to come as a special order from New Zealand. Access matched the price I found down the Gold Coast so it was a no-brainer ordering from Access. It was a bit fiddly to fit (lucky I could access the door internals from under my deck) but as a DIY it saved me a heap of money and the best solution, even though I need to cover the keyhole plate. The mechanism itself works brilliantly, not clunky like the old Interlock one. If you need locks I highly recommend Access Hardware both for price and service!

Seamless service and sound advice. The part I needed wasn't in stock but arrived 2 days later. A full five stars.

Very knowledgeable, patient and obliging. Sorted out my problem/query will no hassle. recommend 10/10 to deal with this company

I had an excellent experience with Access Hardware, and I can’t speak highly enough of Dave and his team. Dave was incredibly accommodating, especially given the circumstances. Without me even asking, he immediately offered discounts and his quote came in at almost half of what others were charging. That alone was impressive — but what really set them apart was the service. They turned the job around in under 24 hours, with Dave calling in a favour to make it happen. That kind of effort and care for a customer is rare these days. From start to finish, the professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine willingness to help were outstanding. These guys don’t just do the job — they go well beyond what you’d expect from a locksmith. Don’t bother with anyone else. If you want quality workmanship, fair pricing, and some of the nicest, most reliable people in the business, Access Hardware is the place to go.

The staff here are fantastic. Great customer service and always willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back if I ever need anything else!

Example of a good business. Item ordered, instant confirmation and fast delivery. Only issue was StarTrack delivery guy too lazy to actually do his job and deliver to premises so instead dumped at post office too late on a Friday evening to have for the weekend.
