Adelaide Automotive Locksmiths

Motorists needing replacement keys, remote fobs and ignition repairs form the bulk of feedback for this Adelaide automotive locksmith. Several customers describe remote controls coded on the spot, often within fifteen to twenty minutes, and spare keys cut for older vehicles from a supplied barrel. Punctuality is a recurring theme: reviewers repeatedly mention technicians arriving at the agreed time and starting work straight away. Named staff feature prominently, with John, Greg, Gary and Luke each credited for friendliness, clear explanations and patience when a job turns complicated, such as a 2025 Haval H6 whose only remote key was lost and which required direct contact with the manufacturer overseas to resolve.

Something that features in review after review is the pricing, described as competitive and reasonable for the work involved, alongside honest advice about what needs replacing. Customers also note the care taken beyond the immediate task, including a door sensor cable reconnected during a key change and a broken ignition barrel repaired within half an hour after an out-of-hours call. The overall impression is of old-fashioned service delivered efficiently, with keys and remotes programmed while customers wait. Automotive key duplication and programming remain the services most frequently highlighted.

Amazing service & knowledge can't be beaten have used them several times customer for life

Greg did an excellent job making a spare key for my car. He was very responsive, friendly, and punctual, arriving exactly as planned. The whole process took only 20 minutes, and everything was done professionally and efficiently. I’m glad I chose them, and I wouldn’t hesitate to do business with them again. Thank you!

Thanks again for the outstanding service!

I called about a car key for my falcon they quoted $250 for the job we organised a time around 1-2pm and they arrived at my house unannounced at 11:30am and after about an hour the locksmith told me his been messing around with for a while wasting his time and it’s snapped in two then charged me $220 and said I’m going to charge you more then callout because that was a waste of my time and throughout the whole thing he was quite rude and talking to me as if it was my fault he couldn’t figure out it was broken after about 2 minutes Will never be going though these people again.

The team at Adelaide Automotive Locksmiths were excellent! Needed a key cut for an old car. Gave them the barrel was done in 15 mins and was a great price.

Got my car key fob replaced last Friday and was extremely satisfied with it. The staff always had a smile when they spoke and were always very friendly and informative. Cannot recommend highly enough. 😊

Lost the only remote key to my 2025 Haval H6. When GWM Havel could not help, John and Gary came to the rescue. With little to nothing to work with, these guys went above and beyond, contacting GWM in China direct and working though a number of issues to finally reach a solution. Great lads, incredible service. Many thanks - would highly recommend to everyone. Dave G
