Mister Minit Rockhampton City Centre Plaza

Shoppers bringing in keys, footwear, watches and engraving jobs in Rockhampton have left a mixed record of their experiences at this kiosk business, which handles key duplication alongside boot repair, engraving and watch work. A handful of customers describe fast turnaround on key cutting, with one car key completed in a quarter of an hour at a price far below what other outlets quoted for reprogramming, and another praising the speed of a job that a competitor said would take a week.

Pete is named for a backpack repair, where he explained the options openly and even suggested obtaining a comparison quote elsewhere. Codey is mentioned for keys, Christmas gift engraving and sandal repairs, with rose gifts and marked-down prices noted.

Against this, complaints recur around car keys that failed to work and were not matched properly, with a refund offered only for the cutting while the ruined key went uncompensated. A watch left for a battery check was not returned for many months, and engraving work drew a sharp response over an attendant's manner and the qualifications of staff handling watches. The pattern is of quick, well-priced routine jobs alongside unresolved problems when a key or watch went wrong.

Every other experience was very pleasant until I got to experience the service that Rhys delivered. I asked for 2 plaques and when he turned around he uttered a curse under his breath so I said I didnt have time and left.

Quickest key cut I’ve ever had wow , friendly service and fast !

Went it to get 2 keys cut and was met with very rude service because i was on the wrong side of the counter i won't shop there again

Great service, stocklands mister mint said it would take a week, centre city plaza took 10 minutes

Saw Pete about my bacpack which had developed two big holes at the bottom. He was incredibly friendly and upfront about how the fix would be done and what it would cost and ended up delivering a fantastic result for an incredibly competitive price. Also done very quickly. Couldn't recommend his services more! Thanks again 😊

I recently got a backpack fixed by Pete. Not only did he do a fantastic job with the repair, but he was genuinely enthusiastic about his work and was a joy to deal with. He explained exactly what my options were and even recommended I also get a quote from the leather shop down the street to see if that was a better option for me (it wasn't). This really shows that he cares more about providing the best service than the profit margin. The customer service was beyond exceptional and the work was well done and very reasonably priced. Could not recommend Pete highly enough.

I took my Adina watch in to get a new battery, worked well for a month then the back fell off it, I took it back to the shop and the man said what did you do it, I said worn it on my arm like you do with a watch After telling me he was only a trainee and he couldn't put my watch back together he told me to go to Michael Hill to get it fix I later found out he didn't put a retaining ring in correctly and crossed threaded the back of the watch, this watch was brand new costing $650 and was a gift Definitely recommend not taking watches to this place and go to Michael Hill instead
