MobileLock

Locksmith services across Cairns and the surrounding districts, with Chris attending jobs himself, shape the feedback from start to finish. Speed and reliability come through strongly, including a late-night call-out to swap out locks after keys went missing, and customers note that agreed times are kept. The standard of the finished work earns consistent praise, covering deadlocks, cavity door locks, lever-style internal handles and garage remote checks at a recently bought home.

Advice offered on site is a point that comes up often, from restricted key systems that prevent unauthorised copying to master key arrangements planned for future convenience, with reviewers appreciating that a simpler or better option was proposed instead of the original request. Charges are described as reasonable and confirmed beforehand, and one account contrasts this with other trades who declined a difficult bathroom door lock or quoted excessive sums. Communication ranks as a strength, both when booking and afterwards, when guidance on lock upkeep was shared. Chris is named for a friendly, patient approach, and the confidence placed in him extended to work at an elderly parent's property.

Chris was awesome - came out late to change some locks after our keys were stolen. Gave us great peace of mind. Excellent service and price.

Chris from MobileLock in Gordonvale is an absolute standout in his field, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. From the moment he arrived, his professionalism and friendly, approachable nature were immediately apparent. He’s genuinely a people person—easy to talk to, respectful, and someone who clearly takes pride not just in his work, but in looking after his customers. His attention to detail is exceptional. Whether it was installing deadlocks or rekeying every barrel in the house so they all matched perfectly, everything was done with precision and care. On the tools, Chris is simply spot on—efficient, skilled, and clearly very experienced in his craft. What really sets him apart, though, is his honesty and trustworthiness. It’s rare these days to find someone you feel completely comfortable having in your home, but Chris inspires that confidence straight away. He was punctual, well-mannered, and went above and beyond by even helping with some heavy lifting while I was recovering from surgery—something he absolutely didn’t have to do, but did without hesitation. His pricing was more than reasonable, especially considering the high standard of his work. He also offered great advice throughout, explaining everything clearly and sharing his knowledge in a way that was genuinely helpful. It’s not often you come across someone of Chris’s calibre. His workmanship, integrity, and customer-focused approach make him a true professional, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a top-quality locksmith in the Cairns region. If I ever need a locksmith in the near future, Chris from Mobile Lock is the only one I'd call.

Great service, fast and reliable. Chris came when we weren’t busy and fixed our roller door lock. Thanks again Chris.

Had Chris over to unlock our old style pub pool table. He was very efficient and with a great personality as well. Would recommend him hands down.

It was a pleasure to have Chris put new locks on my doors. He is cheerful, prompt and reliable. I will definitely recommend Chris and get him back next time I need a locksmith.

I had Chris attend my daughter’s house to supply and fit a deadlock. Chris arrived on time, was very easy to talk to, and did a great job fitting the lock. Chris also went out of his way to make adjustments to a screen door for no extra fee. I highly recommend Chris and won’t hesitate to call on him again in the future.

5 stars is not enough for Chris! He is friendly honest reliable and so down to earth and extremely reasonably priced a rare find these days. Nothing is too much trouble and he is prompt with his service and quoting! I used him for a small job and we were so impressed I got him back and trusted him with my elderly mothers house which was a very big job! Thanks Chris we will definitely be using him again!
