Adelaide Home Security Locksmiths

Re-keying locks to consolidate several keys into one, replacing old exterior handles and knob sets, fitting deadbolts and lever handles, and repairing misbehaving screen doors are among the jobs described in feedback about this Adelaide locksmith. Something that features in review after review is the depth of knowledge and the honest, no-nonsense guidance offered by Dave, named repeatedly by customers for explaining the intended work beforehand and for identifying faults from nothing more than a description given by phone. Arrival at the promised time, or very soon after the call, is mentioned frequently, along with jobs completed more quickly than anticipated.

Communication rates highly too, covering telephone and text exchanges before the visit and prompt sourcing of specific hardware afterwards. Pricing is consistently characterised as fair and in line with the market, and small follow-up adjustments, such as turning lock handles around at a customer's request, attracted no extra charge. Reviewers also note the care taken with older screen door mechanisms, which were repaired and inspected for future wear. Typical outcomes include streamlined keying across multiple doors, modernised exterior hardware and an added second lock for improved security.

Very reliable and honest locksmith. They explained my options clearly, charged a fair price, and completed the job much faster than I expected.

Dave was helpful on the phone and via text messages. He made it possible to go from four keys to one key for the two entrances to our unit. He also added a lever handle and deadbolt to one of our doors. He did it all in under two hours. He demonstrated integrity and excellence in his service. I’m completely satisfied with the work he did and will happily recommend him to family and friends.

Recently solved another problem for us in record time. Service was great as always and price is market accurate. (I'm always dubious of businesses that under charge, the savings have to come from somewhere ) I always call Adelaide Home Security Locksmiths with confidence. Thanks for maintaining a great business relationship.

I called to get a quote and was met with rudeness and arrogance. I went to the website to view the video about Locksmiths that scam as per his recommendation and the website has some random gambling site attached. Fix your website and your attitude.

Five-star service. Dave was incredibly helpful in the lead-up, making sure everything was clear and hassle-free (and his website is genuinely a great resource). On the day he communicated well, arrived right on time, and completed the job perfectly. When I later realised I’d made a mistake and needed the lock handles flipped, Dave was more than happy to fix it promptly and didn’t charge anything extra. Friendly, professional, and reliable — I wouldn’t hesitate to use Adelaide Home Security Locksmiths again.

Called Dave to re-key some locks, made time for me on the day. Ended up needing a new door handle, which wasn't a problem for him. Job done professionally and fast! Charged a very reasonable price for the work.

Dave arrived within an hour of calling him and replaced an old lock and handle on an exterior door with brand new ones. They are much easier to use and as an added bonus there's two locks now instead of just the one. He was easy to talk to and charged a fair price.
