Great Ocean Locksmiths

Digital lock installation, repairs to French and front door locks, retrofitting uniform-key systems and sourcing parts for older hardware are among the jobs customers describe most often, with several noting that smart lock installs led to unrelated door problems being fixed at no extra cost. Sean is the name that recurs throughout the feedback, and reviews regularly refer to his calm, courteous manner and the clear way he explains what needs doing before any work begins. Punctuality and reliability stand out: he answers enquiries quickly, returns calls, arrives when promised and reorganises his schedule for urgent work at short notice.

The finish is described as neat, whether the task is a complex vintage lock requiring a workshop-made solution or a straightforward latch spring for a twenty-year-old Gainsborough trilock. Quotes are characterised as competitive and jobs are seen through to completion without charges beyond the agreed figure. Customers also value his willingness to keep existing hardware working rather than push for replacements, a habit credited with saving both time and money, and his approachable nature keeps him on trade lists and has clients passing his details to family and friends in Geelong.

Desperate for a spare part for our front door we rang Sean on a Saturday. Sean looked and then found the latch spring we needed for our 20 year old Gainsborough trilock. We collected the part from his home and he happily gave us the part free of charge! Great service and a pleasure to deal with.

Did an absolutely fantastic job of our new rangehood installation. Such a lovely person as well.

Great communication, competent workmanship, and arrived when he said he would. Highly recommend Sean.

On time, neat and did exactly what was needed. Really helpful and a great service. Can't fault them!

Efficient, professional, competitively priced and an absolute pleasure to work with. We had a complex, old lock and Sean workshopped and came up with a brilliant solution. We couldn't be any happier with the end result. Highly recommend Great Ocean Locksmiths!

Excellent, came quickly to change locks after thieves had taken my household Joey’s. Professional, quick & cost effective

Sean was so helpful and attended promptly and in between jobs when I was in a pickle with a gate. Thanks for your service. Elle
