H.A. Reed Locksmiths Brisbane

Property managers coordinating whole complexes, safe owners and households with damaged locks all feature among the accounts left for this Newstead locksmith, where rekeying an entire building within a single day is described as seamless. More than one customer describes safe purchases and servicing, with staff named as Ethan and Nick guiding the choice from a broad selection of units, and one owner of a personal safe whose key had been lost reports that access was gained within minutes and the underlying fault explained on the spot.

Emergency after-hours entry recurs as a theme, most often credited to Nick, and the same reviewer notes a letterbox key problem resolved in ten minutes. Praise for workmanship centres on difficult repairs rather than replacements: a front door lock that proved badly broken was persisted with until a new barrel cylinder was fitted, and an older lock brought in with a failed spring was sourced and reassembled.

Several accounts note that jobs were completed for the price originally quoted, and long-standing clients speak of consistent service over many years. Tidiness, clear communication and knowledgeable advice about hardware are noted throughout, along with the patience shown to customers who had approached other businesses first.

Friendly staff who were ready and willing to assist me in fixing my dilemma.

Thanks so so much Nick for letting me in after hours. You are awesome!!!

Highly recommend H A Read! They have always been incredibly helpful, reliable, and professional whenever I’ve needed assistance. Their pricing is very fair and affordable compared to others, and the service is always quick and stress-free. It’s hard to find honest tradespeople these days, but these guys genuinely care about helping their customers. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone needing a great locksmith.

I lost a secondary key to open my personal safe so I was looking for someone to open it. I rang 3 different places and was spoken to rudely with the last saying “I don’t want to do this” I rang these guys up and they were nothing but helpful and positive. They gained access in like 2 minutes and explained what the issue was. I couldn’t recommend these guys more with professionalism and customer service. Also price was really great. BIG HELP GUYS!!!

Fantastic service and well priced. Thank you Kody for the excellent work.

I dropped an old lock into HA Reeds which had a broken spring. They sourced a new spring and re-assembled the lock for me - all at no cost. What great service..!!

Our family has been using HA Reed for more than 3 decades now. They have always been extremely reliable, flexible, trustworthy and fairly priced. I highly recommend them.
