Hunter Auto Keys

Hunter Auto Keys provides mobile car key and remote services, with customers consistently highlighting the speed and convenience of having work completed at their door or roadside. Pete is named repeatedly for his expertise, honesty and friendly manner, diagnosing faults such as a faulty immobilisation unit on one vehicle and a key stuck in the ignition of a Holden Trailblazer, then fixing them on the spot.

Replacement keys, cutting and programming of new keys, key fob battery replacement and remote repairs all feature in feedback, with several reviewers describing problems resolved within hours of first contact after other local businesses failed to respond or lacked the equipment. Pricing is described as fair and competitive, and communication before and after the job is a point that comes up often, including one account of a booking rearranged to suit the customer and the quoted cost honoured.

Reviewers also value punctuality, with arrivals promised and kept, and the willingness of staff to travel out to vehicles in the Maitland area and beyond, sometimes on short notice. Another worker, Brad, is mentioned for attending promptly and getting a customer back on the road. The recurring theme is reliable, knowledgeable assistance with automotive lock and key faults, delivered without fuss and at a cost customers consider reasonable.

My experience with Hunter Auto Keys was excellent. I had help within 30 minutes and problem resolved immediately after that. I would recommend this service to anyone if you're looking for a friendly dedicated expert to help you out

5 stars. I sent through a non urgent enquiry and was still seen the same day. Keys were sorted very quickly

Highly recommend these guys! Brad came out to us straight away and had us back on the road. Very competitive pricing, great communication, can’t go wrong.

Dude is amazing! He was willing to come out over the weekend, only one who would even consider it in a 50km radius. But we ended up scheduling for Monday instead because I decided to book a cheap hotel down the street from work. Knocked 50-100 off the price for 2 keys to compete and true to his word he got out in time for me to get to work on Monday. Sorry for the roller-coaster but thanks heaps for the service. 😊

Will absolutely recommend these guyz. ++ Picked up right away and made next day availablilty compared to another place I tried to enquire . Had the pleasure of meeting two of their workers on separate occasions in a two day period . They were extremely convenient and even as going out of their way the second day when my car had a different problem - talk about having a great local community, they were trustworthy and honest which is highly valued and just overall great communication. Quick and convenient, straight forward pricing and know what their doing and top notch durable quality . my car key looks even more awesome and is functional . They deserve ALL their 5 stars . Truly exceptional service I know to call their business if ever I'm in trouble again and in need of another key cutting and programming.

Pete from Hunter Auto Keys is a smart, kind, and honest professional. One of the many local companies i called did not have the experience or equipment to resolve my suspected immobiliser/key issues. They later referred me to Pete. He was able to diagnose that my 2001 nissan patrol had a faulty immobilisation unit, (of which he had a replacement on hand) and was able to fix it for a very fair cost. Overall i am very happy with this service and would recommend to family and friends.

Pete came to my rescue as promised on Monday. Fixed my car after the NRMA, suggested a car locksmith. He was superb and had my car fixed in no time, very reasonable price considering the work he had to do on my Audi A3
