Locktec Locksmiths

Households facing failed door locks, lockouts and car key troubles make up much of the work described by customers of Locktec Locksmiths, and the accounts share a consistent thread of fast, well-organised help. More than one customer describes calling and having someone on site within hours, with same-day attendance common; one recalls being locked out with neither phone nor money and having the front door open roughly ten minutes after walking in.

Punctuality and professionalism recur, including tradespeople who arrive early, introduce themselves and finish the job efficiently. Reviewers repeatedly mention fair, transparent pricing for the work actually needed, with one noting a reasonable charge for an ignition repair that others had quoted far higher, and two describing a repair-first approach in which an inexpensive fix was found instead of costly replacement.

Expertise and clear advice stand out, particularly explanations of why locks had failed as a house shifted. Nathan is named for repairing three locks that had stopped working and getting them operating perfectly, while Owen is credited with arranging prompt attendance. Keying an entrance lock, deadbolt and padlock alike to restricted keys also features, alongside replacement of front door and security door locks and extraction of a broken key from an ignition without damage.

Great service and great price! Very efficient! Highly recommended for any lock issue

In an act of Darwinism, I managed to lock myself out of my house - with no phone, no money, every door and window securely locked with no way in. All I had was my car key and a little fuel to drive me somewhere close for help. I stumbled upon Locktec Locksmith by chance, and not only did they help me, but they had my front door unlocked within 10 minutes of me walking through their door. Price was very reasonable all things considered (And they do offer a variety of payment methods and will bring a portable eftpos machine with them on the job). Highly recommended.

Having used Locktec Locksmiths before, I can say their service has always been awesome! Today, I needed a car key cut, and it was no problem at all for them. In the past, they’ve handled much more complex jobs for me with ease. They’re professional, reliable, well-priced, and offer good old-fashioned service you can trust. Highly recommend!

I'd like to say Nathan at this company was great, looked after me,got my key and car goin' spot on,I couldn't reckon the gentleman more,if you need a locksmith he's top notch

I had previously gone to Bunnings and found that first Bunnings was unable to fulfil my order 100% and secondly they couldn't provide the expertise/knowledge required and thirdly ... 4 days to get a quote.. (made me wonder how long it would take to get the parts). Fourthly they were $50 dearer. ;) I wanted an entrance lock, a deadbolt and a padlock all keyed alike but using restricted keys. This shop is heaven on wheels. After explaining what I wanted it took 5 mins to show me the stuff and get a quote. About 2 hours to key all the items alike (restricted keys) and make me 5 keys. And I sincerely thank him for the advice on installation which saved me a few hours because I rarely read installation instructions... lol.
