Went in to get a key cut. Was told to come back the next day because he was busy. Then said it would cost $66. I had it done elsewhere straight away for $28.50. Not recommended.

Arrived when they said they would. Explained the locks and showed me how to use. I’m a clux so appreciated the calm and patience. reasonable price. Knew my building, so familiar. Bonus-local knowledge.

NOT 24/7, THEY LIE!! Friday night 6:00pm 26/9/2025, Greenslopes. I snapped the key off in the ignition. RACQ guy could not get it out, said I should call an auto locksmith. RACQ Ultra Care called Southbank Locksmiths and arranged to have them come out in 45 minutes. They didn't show, so I called them and the guy said "Ahh no, my technician is at a function and has had a couple of drinks so he can't help, sorry." So forget this "We are 24/7 h available to you!". Finally Banyo Locksmiths came all the way to Greenslopes and did the job. 4.5 hours waiting, in a tow away zone. These auto locksmiths might be good at their job, I don't know, but THEY ARE NOT 24/7!!!

I would not rely on them with anything! I sat around for hours awaiting someone to answer my calls and got absolutely nothing. Til the guy who was in charge of 24/7 support messages me the NEXT DAY saying “had a big night and my phone was off sorry” And rubs in how they could have done it cheaper than the other company I had to end up going through??? How professional

Such a wonderful experience with Southbank Locksmiths and Security Services! They were incredibly kind and helpful—fixed two of my keys quickly and didn’t even charge me. It’s rare to find service this genuine and generous. Highly recommended!
