Steve's Keys and Shoe repairs

Shoe repairs dominate the accounts, with boots reheeled and resoled until they appear new again, leather belts mended and sandal straps shortened so neatly that the alteration is barely detectable. Watch strap fitting and battery replacement recur, including a customer who was advised the watch ran on solar power and was therefore not charged. Key duplication and car key fob battery replacement are completed on the spot, and reviewers highlight the speed of turnaround when boots were required for an event the next day.

Steve himself is named repeatedly as the reason people come back, described as a person who is always willing to assist and who approaches each task with good humour. Several customers note that prices are reasonable and the workmanship careful, and more than one mentions being served with a laugh and some gentle teasing. The arcade setting is flagged by a patron as a useful detail for those visiting initially. The pattern that emerges is one of traditional personal service, where problems are solved without fuss and the standard of the finished repair encourages repeat visits for footwear and leather goods.

Steve's flawless 5 star reviews are a true reflection of the high standard of his work and service. After having had a disappointing experience on a pair of boots with a different cobbler last year, I was hesitant to rush finding another to give an old pair of RMs some needed love. Steve is a true craftsman and his attention to quality is clearly evident in the outstanding work he did in bringing these boots back to their former glory. Legend.

Excellent service, super friendly and sorted my watch strap very quickly

Stopped into Steve’s Keys & Shoe Repairs to get the battery replaced in my car key fob and walked out with it working perfectly within minutes. Steve is funny, friendly, knows exactly what he’s doing, and let’s just say… not exactly hard on the eyes either. 😄 Great service, quick, reasonably priced, and a good laugh while you’re there. It’s the kind of old-school local service you don’t see much anymore. If you need keys, repairs, or a quick fix for your key fob, Steve’s your guy. I’ll definitely be back (even if my keys are behaving themselves).

Took my watch in for a battery replacement. Came back to collect and kindly told me my watch runs on solar power and doesnt need a new battery. Didn't charge me even after I kept insisting.

Absolute legend, always happy to help. I have had a few shoe repairs here now and they are all perfect highly recommend

Fixed my son's shoes on the spot. No messing about, fair priced, top bloke. I recommend. In the colonial arcade not port central, but right next door.

Steve knows his craft and is always helpful. Prompt, reliable service at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
