The Locksmith Man

The Locksmith Man is a name that emerges time and again in accounts of work carried out around Townsville, with Shaun named in nearly every one. A recurring theme is the speed of response to lockouts, with callers telling of being attended to within fifteen to twenty minutes of making contact, sometimes after hours or late at night with children present. The jobs described range broadly: gaining emergency entry to homes, fitting deadbolts, rekeying existing locks, hanging new doors and installing a specialist smart lock.

Reviewers regularly note that Shaun takes the time to explain why older locks were failing and to offer practical guidance on reducing break-in risk. Punctuality, communication throughout a job and a workspace left cleaner than it was found are each mentioned repeatedly. Charges are consistently described as reasonable for the work performed. Customers often call Shaun polite, friendly and reassuring under pressure, and many report returning to him across multiple years for further locksmith work, from lock replacement to security upgrades.

Got locked out of the house late in the evening with my kids after leaving the keys inside. I called Shaun and he answered straight away, arrived within about 15 minutes, and had the door open in no time. Absolutely fantastic service: fast, professional, and stress-free. Shaun was also genuinely lovely and reassuring, which made a big difference in a stressful moment. Highly recommend!

We got broken into and our car was stolen along with our house keys, leaving us with broken locks and doors. Sean was absolutely amazing. He even moved his appointments around to prioritise our situation and came out the same day. He was extremely polite, professional, so understanding and reasonably priced. He fixed everything quickly and gave us real peace of mind knowing our home was secure again. Couldn’t recommend him enough. Truly outstanding service.

I had locked my keys in my house and Shaun was booked for the rest of the day. He made a call to his next client and asked if they would mind if stopped at my place first. He arrived within 20 mins and quickly unlocked my front door. I am very grateful for his service, kindness and workmanship. I would highly recommend contacting Shaun if you want best person to do the job and for the best price in town😊
