Altona Locksmiths

Automotive lock and key problems dominate the work described by those who have dealt with Altona Locksmiths, with ignition faults and key replacements recurring in accounts. A number of customers describe keys stuck in ignitions or broken keys repaired on the spot, including one case where an unfinished job left by another auto locksmith was corrected and all loose parts refitted. Nick and Alex are named repeatedly for their welcoming and knowledgeable manner, explaining their process clearly and going out of their way to reduce stress.

Turnaround features often, with replacement work ute keys and car keys completed within minutes or under an hour, which customers contrast against dealership quotes that were considerably higher. Fair pricing and a willingness to take on small extra jobs come up as well, and one account recalls a free key cut offered for a rare blank that worked perfectly. The same reliability carries into fleet work, where the team is described as experienced and trustworthy across repeat visits. Craftsmanship, minimal waiting time and value are cited as consistently strong, and multiple customers say they would return for future automotive lock and key needs.

First time to deal with. Offered me a free key cut because it was a rare key and was not sure it would work. It worked perfectly and I appreciate a wonderful service.

First time I’ve used this business, have to say Alex was professional and very helpful. Definitely use again in the future. Was happy to do a small extra job. Thanks again !

This panel shop looks after our fleet and they are amazing. 2 lovely blokes and they are very experienced! Highly recommended.

Mercedes dealership quoted me $1200 and it would take 2 visits. Altona Locksmiths had it done in under an hour for $350. Professional service. Great price. Highly recommend.

Rang on a Friday morning for a replacement of a work Ute key and needed it done to get back on the road within the hour. Called and he was such a champion on the phone, told me to come in, 5 minutes later we were back on the road and half the price of what others charged. Thankyou!

After calling around for quotes to replace my car door lock, Nick gave me the best price and came across as confident and capable. While other places said it would be complicated and expensive, he made it sound straightforward. I dropped the car off the next day, and it was ready to pick up that afternoon. Great service, very professional, and a friendly team. Highly recommend!

My car key unlock button wasn't working. Used my spare key as well and had the same problem after changing both batteries. Nick looked at the keys, fixed it in less than 30 mins. Saved me $100+ buying a new set of keys. Good price, quick service.
