Canobolas Locksmiths

In Orange, Canobolas Locksmiths draws consistent praise for the depth of its locksmithing knowledge and the care taken with unusual jobs. Reviewers often mention staff members Dale, Ian and Chloe, whose friendly and professional manner comes up often. Vehicle keys feature prominently, with customers describing new car keys cut promptly and a truck unlocked within the hour after a dog accidentally locked the doors. Work on electronic push-button safes also earns commendation, including a unit whose flat battery was diagnosed, cleaned and explained on the spot.

A difficult key that other businesses could not replicate was completed over several days without charge until the result was right. Customers value the straightforward advice given before and after each job, and the fact that the team accommodates specific requests rather than applying a standard approach. Several describe the service as efficient and courteous, noting that problems are sorted without fuss. The business also supplies locks, duplicates keys, stocks batteries and safes, and handles emergency call-outs, so the recurring theme is technical expertise paired with genuine helpfulness.

Great customer service. Would definitely recommend.

Helped me with a complex key replacement. Nothing too much hassle for them, endlessly knowledgeable, helpful and patient. Great communication too. Highly recommend them.

Thanks Canobolas Locksmiths. Simple job. Broken back door handles, but Dale organised and Chloe assessed and fixed - so easy to get job done. Thank you both

Awesome service and happy to accommodate my requests.

Absolutely amazing customer service. Dale and Ian are a pleasure to do business with, and just great people. Cheers Wes

Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t great. The office was unstaffed during advertised hours, and over three weeks we struggled to get clear communication, a visit, or any prioritisation for our lock issue. Repeated no shows and it was often difficult to reach them by phone. We eventually reached out to a company in Bathurst, who fixed the lock within 24 hours, and at a lower cost and call out fee despite being an extra 55kms away! Hoping Canobolas can improve reliability going forward.

What great service. So helpful and efficient. Sorted new car keys for me in no time. Thanks so much!
