Coastal Locksmiths

Holidaymakers and local households around Geelong feature prominently in accounts of Coastal Locksmiths, which customers describe as a well organised and professional operation. Speed recurs as a theme, with key copies produced in minutes and a locked-out family helped after dark when a lock had seized from marine air. Emergency lock repairs, car key cutting and key duplication appear often, including a worn HiLux key that other cutting places had declined and which was eventually completed because the team persisted rather than giving up.

Lachie and Brian are singled out by name for diagnosing faults calmly from photographs, working carefully and travelling considerable distances to reach a job. Practical advice is another talking point, such as suggesting a lock spray rather than a full assembly replacement. Reviewers also value polite presentation, tidy work, card payment taken on the spot and a mobile cutting machine brought to the vehicle. A well equipped van and a friendly manner from first contact to completion round out the accounts.

Quick, professional and well priced

They do not do emergency work. When I locked myself out of my house, they said they were booked out for two weeks!

Excellent service with great advice about combining a new screen door lock with the existing front door lock. Really nice people and highly professional.

Called in a panic as bathroom door randomly locked. Brian talked me through on the phone how to open it. Friendly, efficient service.

Highly recommend these guys, thought I was going to be up for a new front door lock assembly but on their advice invested in a can of their magic lock spray. Worked a treat!

Brian and Lachy were so incredibly helpful, professional and effective when the latch broke on my front door. Brian diagnosed the issue from my photos and immediately sent Lachy (who luckily finished a job early) and upon arriving calmly set about remedying the problem. Such a good service, I highly recommend this business!

These guys are awesome ! Had a key break in a car door of a hire vehicle..couldn't get a replacement from the hire company in time and there was no manual with the key number...oh and needed the key as had a flight to catch. They were super busy but took the time to drive me to the car, manage to extract the broken half of the key and then somehow managed to cut a replacement - literally in about an hour of me first arriving on foot, the car was running again. Bryan/Brian - thank you. You are a legend.
