Stan Wootton Locksmiths

Stan Wootton Locksmiths is described by reviewers as a solution-focused locksmith serving Geelong and the surrounding area, with car key replacement standing out as the most frequently praised job. Rick is named repeatedly, and his arrival times, friendliness and willingness to explain each step while working are recurring themes. Reviewers say he orders and fits key parts even when the manufacturer could not supply them as quickly, and that he works efficiently on apartment doors and complex house locks, including a semi-urgent front door issue that was fitted in on the same day.

One thing mentioned again and again is the clarity of quotes and the fairness of the final price, with the advice given on keeping equipment in good order also noted. Several buyers describe the team as a helpful, understanding family business that communicates well from the first call through to completion, and one mentions tracking a locksmith en route before he began the job. Others describe a difficult lost-key situation resolved without towing, and the composure shown throughout is repeatedly credited to Rick's persistence and professionalism. Reviewers also highlight punctual arrival for a new car key and the quick turnaround once work began.

Great job. Arrived on time to cut a new car key, provided great customer service and advice, and was quick.

Fantastic service and perseverance to open my apartment door ! Highly recommended and very nice family business

A knowledgeable, reliable and honest locksmith. About an hour of expert work and driving around cost just $243, all up. A very fair price for getting the job done right. They have earnt their reputation as a Geelong stalwart. I thoroughly recommend them.

After accidentally locking a client out of their bedroom whilst doing some service work, I gave these guys a call. They were incredibly helpful from start to finish, upfront with prices which were very reasonable and much cheaper than anticipated and were there within the hour. The attending locksmith was really friendly and professional and got the job done quickly. I joked to him that I'd send some business his way. Not even two weeks later, the same client locked themself out and called me asking for a locksmith, I sent them this way. Awesome service!

I had an emergency after losing my only car key down the opening of a lift. I called Stan Wootton Locksmith and I was made to feel like the most important person. Shortly afterwards i had Rick call me, after asking me when was I hoping to have my car back on the road I said NOW expecting to be told not a chance considering it was 3.pm Rick said he will book me in for Now. I was able to track him and 10 minutes later he was working on my car. I was so great full for the kind and professional manner Rick showed and he explained everything he was doing. So reasonably priced and I was treated with the highest of respect and I will 100% recommend Rick for Stan Wootton Locksmith Geelong… Great Work 👍🏼

After waiting weeks for a call back from another Geelong well known key / locksmith shop about programming a key fob for my Alfa Romeo Stelvio I contacted Stan Wootton.172 Malop Street Geelong.
