Afterdark Locksmiths

Emergency call-outs are the core of what Afterdark Locksmiths does across Newcastle, and the feedback that recurs concerns how calmly and clearly those urgent jobs are handled. Ehren is the name that appears throughout, described as friendly, patient and knowledgeable, taking calls and answering questions on public holidays and late at night rather than leaving people uninformed. The work recounted includes freeing keys locked inside a vehicle, replacing a front door lock, and fitting a lock that latches automatically and opens with fingerprint recognition.

An aspect raised across a number of reviews is his willingness to coordinate a booking around the customer's own schedule and then arrive on or before the stated time, straight onto the task with no fuss. Reviewers often mention the swift, tidy finish, with one noting the job was completed almost unnoticed, and another that he talked them through repairing a lock themselves while remaining on the line. Over ten years in the trade is credited for that direct, unfussed expertise and for the high standard of the completed work.

We are so pleased with the professional service you gave us. The neat lock to our front door makes us feel so safe that it automatically locks our door and we can quickly get back inside with our fingerprint identification.

Excellent friendly service. Highly recommended should you require locks, keys, security service etc. It's nice to come across a local honest business to promote.

Had a really wonderful experience with Ehren. He was available at very late notice and my job was completed to a high standard. I can safely say he saved the day! I will definitely call Ehren next time I need a lock changed.

Ehren replaced my lock this week and I couldn't be happier with the experience. He was responsive from the start, easy to communicate with, and kept me informed as the job progressed — which made the whole process stress-free. Great work and great service. Highly recommend.

Can’t recommend Ehren’s service enough - he is reliable, thorough, punctual and pleasant to deal with at all times. We had a standard problem doorknob fixed and a new digital panel fitted. Make sure you contact him for anything to do with locks!

Ehren was an absolute pleasure to deal with - I would highly recommend his service to anyone! A lovely guy who kept answering all of my calls and silly questions on a Public Holiday, and was in constant communication with me right up until he came. A simple quick and easy fix. Thanks again for your service Ehren 😃

Absolute champion locksmith! Thank you firstly for responding quickly but talking me through fixing the lock myself. Waited on the phone with me until I got the job done. Many thanks!!
