Betta Key & Shoe Repairs

Betta Key & Shoe Repairs draws consistent praise for the depth of its craftsmanship, with customers describing repair work that revives items they had assumed were beyond saving. Several reviewers highlight the restoration of worn boots and shoes, noting that scuffed leather, broken heels and damaged soles come back looking polished and often better than new. The father-and-son team, including owner Rodney, is frequently named for their expertise and willingness to talk through the options before starting work.

Speed is another recurring theme, with keys cut and car key fobs repaired promptly, sometimes within half an hour, and at prices customers describe as fair and far below dealership quotes. Reviewers repeatedly mention the friendly, helpful manner of staff and the care taken with tricky jobs, including classic car keys and bag straps mended in minutes. When a car key could not be fully fixed, the team spent considerable time investigating and offered a refund, a gesture customers found generous. Shoe repairs, key cutting and car key servicing are the mainstays, and the quality of the finished result is what keeps people returning.

Absolutely fantastic service from Betta Shoe Repairs in Newcastle Mall! Friendly, family-run businesses like this are hard to find these days. The team went above and beyond to help, and nothing was too much trouble. They had exactly what I needed when no one else could help — truly the place that has everything! Great old-fashioned customer service, excellent workmanship, and a genuine willingness to assist. Whether you need shoe repairs, key cutting, or those hard-to-find solutions, this is the place to go. Highly recommend supporting this local gem!

Had my 9 year old RM boots repaired by these guys. They are now like brand new. Great price as well. Highly recommend.

Met the owner Rodney and his son, the only ones that could identify and cut keys for my classic cars. Thanks mate. Cheers

Dropped my RM’s off on Wednesday, scuffed with some leather damage and worn heals. Picked them up on Saturday and WOW!! They look better than new!! Absolutely fantastic work!!! I’m stoked. These men know their craft!! Just next level workmanship! I highly recommend this father/son local business.

Got my key cut here, they were incredibly fast and did an amazing job, it works better than my last key!

Fabulous service! The strap on my bag broke. It was expertly fixed in less than 10 x minutes for just $10. The service is friendly too 💖

Can't fault these guys. They are great. Nothing is too difficult and prices so reasonable. I had my car fob fixed in 30 minutes and 1/4 of the price it was going to cost me at the dealers.
