City Safes

Delivering and installing safes, particularly to homes and shops, emerges as the part of the experience City Safes customers describe most vividly, with crews arriving ahead of schedule or exactly on time and moving heavy units, including one weighing 1500kg, without marking marble floors, lawns, driveways or carpets. Several accounts note a considerate eye for detail, such as placing a load on older concrete when a driveway was newly finished. Named staff including Jacob, Mark, Marg, John and Paul are praised for their product knowledge, while reconditioned safes are described as arriving faultless and looking like new stock at a much lower cost.

Buyers of both new and refurbished units report being guided towards a model suited to domestic or commercial needs, with the business tailoring an option rather than pushing a standard one. Pricing is regularly called competitive and trustworthy, communication from first enquiry through to after-sales support is straightforward, and an approach of getting the job right the first time is a recurring theme. The same team handling delivery and installation, rather than subcontractors, is a point several accounts highlight.

Really happy with John and Janine’s professional service and the manner they run their business. They were able to provide me a solid safe that will last a lifetime. Their prices are competitive, and deliver quality service. John and the boys were an absolute pleasure to deal with on the day of installation. I recommend City Safes, they are a good family run business that cares for their customers needs. Thanks again mate.

Great service all round from the initial visit to select my safe through to John and the team who delivered and installed on time and are very professional good guys. Thanks

City safes provides a great service for purchasing and installing home safes. John was very helpful with selecting the right size safe for our needs and did a top-class professional job installing the safe at my home. The pricing & product is trustworthy and I would definitely recommend them for home safe needs.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Couldn’t be happier with my experience dealing with City Safes! I’m based in Melbourne and worked with Mark and Jacob from Sydney, absolute legends. They took the time to tailor a safe exactly to what I needed, offered a few solid options to suit my budget, and made the whole process simple and professional. They handled the shipping side of things like a pro communication was spot-on, and delivery was seamless. Narelle in Melbourne complemented the process with tier 1 comms. When it arrived, Shaun and Brendan came out for the install, and these guys were next level. Shaun’s knowledge about securing safes and buildings around Melbourne was seriously impressive clearly a bloke who’s been doing this a long time. From start to finish, everything ran perfectly. If you’re even thinking about buying a safe, don’t bother looking anywhere else. City Safes is the real deal, trustworthy, efficient, and just bloody good at what they do.

Very good service and follow up, I bought a safe, had it delivered and installed. Excellent service. I never expected the owner to ring me and ask if the installation went OK. I will recommend this company to anyone. Great service and backup from Mark

Great people. Don’t bother with other cowboys who WILL NOT balance the swing of the door to protect your fingers from crushing(if the door closes on its own due to gravity). May 2024 - I was in touch with Jacob (son) and he was very professional. His quote was competitive and accommodated me to do the job quickly. He turned up at 5:45 am (15 minutes before time) and his team of 3 family members (himself, dad and his brother) removed and reinstalled the 1250 kgs safe in a matter of minutes without much noise or disturbance to neighbours. They are technically sound and have the right equipment to complete the job professionally. I had bought the safe from them years back so happy to confirm a pleasant experience twice.

Very disappointed with City Safes bad customer service from Mark. We bought our safe from City Safes and had it relocated 12 months ago and were looking to use their services again to relocate. We were given a quote and questioned why the quote had almost doubled in the space of 12 months. I was told by a staff member that Mark would call me back that afternoon, but he didn't. Then I was told that he'd ring me the next morning because he'd left for the day. Mark hasn't bothered to call me back at all which is very disappointing considering we're loyal repeat customers of theirs. Very poor customer service and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
