Canberra Locksmiths Mobile Locksmiths

Complicated jobs and after-hours call-outs are where this Phillip locksmith is described as coming into its own. Several accounts focus on a late-night entry where a difficult lock gave way only through the technician's skills and tools, carried out in the dark and cold, and one customer recalls a home visit offered the same afternoon with the front door lock corrected soon after arrival.

Tony is named often, praised for knowledge, patience and practical skill on an awkward digital lock installation involving a DormaKaba M5, where he explained the coding setup and helped with the initial configuration. A request that was both complicated and unusual was met with perseverance over several visits rather than a refusal, and a number of reviews mention pricing described as reasonable, including for out-of-hours attendance.

Alongside mobile locksmith work, the business handles key duplication and safe and vault matters through its shopfront trade in keys and hardware. Not all feedback is complimentary, with a recurring theme of communication breaking down when something goes wrong. One customer reports a cloned car key that failed to start the vehicle, leaving it immobilised, followed by an unhelpful response, while another describes arriving to find the premises shut within advertised trading hours and unclear answers on the hotline.

Great customer service for me today. Fixed my problem lock on the spot.

Was sent to get some roof rack keys cut by Capitol Honda, I called and spoke to Ashley who is just an absolute treat to speak to and was told come in and the guys will cut them while I was there, it was a fast efficient service, young Cooper cut the keys and billed Capitol Honda for me, brushed the keys with a wire brush to clean the edges and gave me one and said test it and those keys worked perfectly straight away. Thanks for the service, Best Rob.

We highly recommend Canberra Locksmiths. I called around midday and was offered a home visit that afternoon. Tony arrived at scheduled time and promptly corrected the issue with our front door lock. In no time at all our door was again locking smoothly. Very reasonable call out and service fee. Highly recommend Tony and the team Jeanine Fras

Good service - prompt, reliable, reasonable price. Quickly identified problem and fixed it. Thanks.

Appalling customer service. Be prepared to wait all morning only for quote time to change to afternoon arrival after calling to enquire. Hard to get information. Not helpful.

Received a text message to collect my key that had opening hours included. Turned up on the Saturday in the time advertised, and it was closed. Rang their hotline, apparently decided not to open on Saturdays in January. No sign on the door to let people know either. Very frustrating.

Very helpful staff, deep expertise. I've been a customer for many years.
